Day wise itinerary
Day 1 – Ixb – Gangtok ( About 150 km/4 hrs) :
After arrival meet & greet at Ixb & transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check-in to hotel. Evening free at leisure / you can visit m.g marg / shopping at your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion :
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city.evening back to the hotel overnight stay in Gangtok hotel .
**Note: Nathula Pass subject to availability on the spot because of weather conditions. Extra Rs 3500/- appx per car will be charged. To be paid to the driver if permit is available.
** For Nathula: Pls carry a ID & address proof along with 3 copies of latest passport size photograph.
Day 3 : Gangtok – Lachung (About 120 kms / 6 hrs) :
After breakfast start for Lachung (altitude 8800 ft) for about 6 hours. En route photo stop at Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters falls, Naga Falls, Bhim Nala, Mangan, & Chungthang . Evening reach Lachung. Overnight Stay in Lachung hotel.
Day 4 : Lachung – Yumthang Excursion (24 Km. & 11,800 ft) – Gangtok :
Early Morning after breakfast drive for 24 km to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to hotel for lunch. Afternoon start for Gangtok. On arrival check-in to hotel at Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok hotel.
Day 5 – Gangtok to Darjeeling
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling ,Check into Darjeeling hotel , over night stay in Darjeeling hotel.
Day 6- Darjeeling Sightseeing :
Early Morning (at 04.00 am) visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. worlds third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ava Art Gallery, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Evening free for shopping & leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.
Day 7 – Darjeling -Ixb Drop :
After break fast drop to ixb . your onward journey.
