Day wise itinerary
Day 1 – Ixb – Gangtok ( 150 km/4 hrs) :
After arrival meet & greet at Ixb & transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check-in to hotel. Evening free at leisure / you can visit m.g marg / shopping at your own. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion :
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city.evening back to the hotel & after dinner over night stay in Gangtok hotel .
**Note: Nathula Pass subject to availability on the spot because of weather conditions. Extra Rs 3500/- appx per car will be charged. To be paid to the driver if permit is available.
** For Nathula: Pls carry a ID & address proof along with 3 copies of latest passport size photograph.
Day 3 – Gangtok – Lachen (About 117 kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast pick up at 09:00 A.M from hotel at Gangtok & start for Lachen (altitude 8610 ft) a beautiful small village. En route photo stop at Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters falls, Naga Falls, Bhim Nala, .Evening free at leisure. Night stay at Lachen.
Day 4 – Lachen – Gurudongmar Excursion- Lachung :
After breakfast visit Gurudongmer Lake. after noon transfer to the lachung. over night stay in room.
Day 5 – Yumthang – Gangtok :
Early Morning after breakfast drive for 24 km to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties.back to the hotel & after lunch drop gangtok.on arrive check in hotel & after dinner over night stay in room.
Day 6 – Gangtok to Darjeeling
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling ,Check into Darjeeling hotel , over night stay in Darjeeling hotel.
Day 7- Darjeeling Sightseeing :
Early Morning (at 04.00 am) visit Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. worlds third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ava Art Gallery, Tea Garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Evening free for shopping & leisure. Night stay at Darjeeling.
Day 8 – Darjeling -Ixb Drop :
After breakfast drop to ixb . For your onward journey.
